Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell will be a guest speaker at the Norfolk-Suffolk Assessors Association meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00AM.
The Register will discuss with the members the ongoing efforts at modernizing the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds land document recording process. Points of discussion will include the Registry’s state-of-the-art computer system, computer redundancy in place and a disaster recovery program that would be initiated in the event of a catastrophic event effecting the Registry. As part of the discussion, Register O’Donnell will also speak about a program well underway to transcribe hard to read land documents dating from 1793-1900.
Register O’Donnell noted, “The partnership the Registry has with the assessing community is critically important. I am very much looking forward to speaking to the assessors about our modernization efforts and ensuring all the assessors questions and concerns are addressed.”
