Wrentham, MA- Continuing his efforts to bring the Registry of Deeds directly to Norfolk County residents, William P. O’Donnell will be the guest speaker at the Wrentham Senior Center on Thursday, February 9th, at 11:00 a.m.
The Register will give an overview of the Registry and discuss, among other things, homestead protection, mortgage discharges, and the increase in certain types of deed scams. The program will also include information about the Registry’s free Consumer Notification Service, which sends an automated alert to property owners of any registry activity that contains their name in the associated city or town where they live.
The event will conclude with a brief question and answer session to address any specific questions attendees may have.
As part of the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds community outreach initiative, Register O’Donnell offers this program in an effort to provide information as to the functions and services the Registry of Deeds provides to the residents and businesses of Norfolk County.
The Wrentham Senior Center is located at 400 Taunton Street in Wrentham.
