Real Estate activity in Foxborough, MA during the 2nd quarter of 2015 saw significant increases in both total real estate sales volume and borrowing.


There was a 7% increase in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Foxborough during the 2nd quarter of 2015. 956 land documents were recorded versus 890 during the 2nd quarter of 2014.


The total dollar volume of real estate sales in Foxborough during the 2nd quarter of 2015 was $73,482,126, a 92% increase over 2014 2nd quarter numbers. The average sales price of deeds over $1000, both residential and commercial properties, was $993,001, a 97% increase from the same time period in 2014. These figures were impacted by the $21 million sale of Residence Inn in Foxborough that took place during 2nd quarter 2015.


The number of mortgages recorded against Foxborough properties during the 2nd quarter of 2015 was 220, a 38% increase from the 2014 2nd quarter number. Total mortgage indebtedness was $320,378,349 for the quarter compared to $39,918,982 for the 2nd quarter 2014.


There were 3 foreclosure deeds filed against Foxborough properties during the 2nd quarter 2015.


Finally, homestead activity decreased in Foxborough during the 2nd quarter 2015 with 78 Homesteads recorded representing a 3% decrease from the 2nd quarter 2014 total of 80.
