Foxborough, MA 2nd Quarter 2017 Real Estate Activity Report

During the 2nd quarter of 2017, real estate activity in Foxborough saw increases in both total sales volume and average sales price.

 

There was a 2% decrease in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Foxborough during the 2nd quarter 2017. 976 land documents were recorded versus 993 during the second quarter 2016.  

 

The total volume of real estate sales in Foxborough during the 2nd quarter 2017 was $48,636,299, a 35% increase from the same time period in 2016. Also, the average sale price of homes and commercial property increased 19% in Foxborough. The average sale price was $486,362. 

 

The number of mortgages recorded (200) on Foxborough properties during the 2nd quarter 2017 was down 7% from the previous year. However, total mortgage indebtedness increased by 74% to $121,951,692 during the same period.

 

There were 0 foreclosure deeds filed against Foxborough properties during the 2nd quarter 2017 compared to 1 foreclosure deed filed during the 2nd quarter 2016. 

 

Finally, homestead activity increased 22% in Foxborough during the 2nd quarter 2017 with 115 homesteads filed compared to 94 during the same time period in 2016.
