Real Estate activity in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter of 2015 saw increases in both total real estate sales volume and borrowing.


 


There was a 19% increase in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Foxborough during the 3rd quarter of 2015. 965 land documents were recorded versus 808 during the 3rd quarter of 2014.


 


The total dollar volume of real estate sales in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter of 2015 was $50,898,417, a 71% increase over 2014 3rd quarter numbers. The average sales price of deeds over $1000, both residential and commercial properties, was $535,772, a 33% increase from the same time period in 2014.


 


The number of mortgages recorded against Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter of 2015 was 209, a 20% increase from the 3rd quarter 2014 number. Total mortgage indebtedness was $82,528,258 for the quarter compared to $40,952,381 for the 3rd quarter 2014.


 


There were 3 foreclosure deeds filed against Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter 2015. This compares to 2 foreclosure deed filings against Foxborough property that were recorded during 3rd quarter 2014. 


 


Finally, homestead activity decreased in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2015 with 83 Homesteads recorded representing a 6% decrease from the 3rd quarter 2014 total of 88.
