Foxborough, MA 3rd Quarter 2017 Real Estate Activity Report

During the 3rd quarter of 2017, real estate activity in Foxborough saw a decrease in total sales volume but an increase in average sales price.

 

There was a 9% decrease in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2017. 964 land documents were recorded versus 1,063 during the third quarter 2016.  

 

The total volume of real estate sales in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2017 was $39,004,983, a 9% decrease from the same time period in 2016. However, the average sale price of homes and commercial property increased 5% in Foxborough. The average sale price was $506,558. 

 

The number of mortgages recorded (201) on Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter 2017 was down 20% from the previous year. Also, total mortgage indebtedness decreased by 9% to $70,677,752 during the same period.

 

There were 2 foreclosure deeds filed against Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter 2017 compared to 3 foreclosure deeds filed during the 3rd quarter 2016. 

 

Finally, homestead activity decreased 2% in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2017 with 82 homesteads filed compared to 84 during the same time period in 2016.
