Foxborough, MA 3rd Quarter 2018 Real Estate Activity Report

During the 3rd quarter of 2018, real estate activity in Foxborough saw increases in both total sales volume and average sales price.

 

There was a 9% decrease in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2018. 874 land documents were recorded versus 965 during the third quarter 2017.  

 

The total volume of real estate sales in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2018 was $75,018,175, a 92% increase from the same time period in 2017. Also, the average sale price of homes and commercial property increased 76% in Foxborough. The average sale price was $893,073. 

 

The number of mortgages recorded (172) on Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter 2018 was down 14% from the previous year. Also, total mortgage indebtedness decreased 33% to $47,521,089 during the same period.

 

There were 0 foreclosure deeds filed against Foxborough properties during the 3rd quarter 2018 compared to 2 foreclosure deeds filed during the 3rd quarter 2017. 

 

Finally, homestead activity increased 17% in Foxborough during the 3rd quarter 2018 with 96 homesteads filed compared to 82 during the same time period in 2017.
