The total volume of real estate sales in Norfolk during the 1st quarter 2016 was $20,541,288, a 64% increase from the same time period in 2015. However, the average sale price of homes and commercial property decreased 4% in Norfolk. The average sale price was $446,549.
The number of mortgages recorded (121) on Norfolk properties during the 1st quarter 2016 was up 2% from the previous year. Total mortgage indebtedness also increased by 5% to $37,751,318 during the same period.
