The total volume of real estate sales in Quincy during the 1st quarter 2016 was $174,956,603, an 84% increase from the same time period in 2015. Also, the average sale price of homes and commercial property increased 50% in Quincy. The average sale price was $714,108. These figures were impacted in part by a $31 million commercial real estate transaction that was recorded on 1/22/16.
The number of mortgages recorded (640) on Quincy properties during the 1st quarter 2016 was down 5% from the previous year. However, total mortgage indebtedness increased by 44% to $356,479,294 during the same period.
There were 6 foreclosure deeds filed against Quincy properties during 1st quarter 2016 compared to 7 foreclosure deed filings during the 1st quarter 2015.
