Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O'Donnell today expressed his appreciation to Father Bill's & MainSpring of Quincy and Brockton for being invited to be part of their annual Workforce Development Celebration held on October 28th.
"It was truly an honor to be part of this celebration. I want to recognize the generous citizens of Norfolk County who have dropped off business appropriate clothing to the Registry so it could be used for the Suits for Success program. Since 2009, more than 3,000 items of clothing have been donated to us," stated Register O'Donnell.
On Father Bill's & MainSpring's role, O'Donnell said, "they've done a great job in not just providing this clothing, but in creating an opportunity for people to make a good initial impression as they reenter the workforce."
The core mission of Father Bill's & MainSpring is the elimination of homelessness in Southern Massachusetts. This is done by providing emergency and permanent housing and helping people obtain skills and jobs so they can achieve self-sufficiency.
Commenting on the Workforce Development Celebration, O'Donnell stated, "It was truly inspiring to listen to the participants who are working so hard to improve their lives and the lives of their families. John Yazwinski, Lucille Cassis and the entire team at Father Bill's & MainSpring are doing outstanding work in improving the lives of southern Massachusetts citizens who are truly worthy of our support."
