As part of a continuing effort to bring Registry services directly to the citizens of Norfolk County, Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell and his outreach team held office hours on Tuesday, November 21st at Stoughton Town Hall. O’Donnell met with local residents answering land document related questions including, but not limited to deeds, mortgage discharges, Homestead Act, and foreclosure assistance programs offered by the Registry.
“It was a pleasure to work with the residents of Stoughton who attended our office hours,” noted O’Donnell. “These office hours truly provide a convenient way for residents to get their land document questions answered and their land documents recorded on the same business day, without the expense and hassle of traveling to our Registry office in Dedham.”
In conclusion, Register O’Donnell stated, “I want to thank the board of selectmen, Interim Town Manager Stephen G. Anastos, and the entire team at Town Hall for their generosity in allowing us to bring the Registry directly to the citizens of Stoughton.”
