The Fourteenth Annual Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots Drive at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds was a wonderful success, according to Register Bill O'Donnell. "Every year many people come by, and are so generous in their giving. This year we had a great bunch of toys ranging from dolls to footballs to puzzle and games to art supplies."
Register O'Donnell also noted that during the past 14 years, approximately 2,100 toys have been collected by the Registry thanks to the generosity of Registry employees, county advisory board members, title examiners and the general public "I would like to once again thank everyone for making the event such a tremendous success. Additionally, we are truly honored to partner with the Marine Corps Reserve in their Annual Toys for Tots drive which help makes the holiday brighter for more than 7 million children each year," said Register O'Donnell. Register O'Donnell delivered the toys to Corporal Gerald Carries. This is the 72nd anniversary of Toys for Tots. The program operates in 800 cities and towns throughout all 50 states. Approximately 40,000 people each year are involved in the drive country-wide, ranging from Marines to volunteers.
