Randolph, MA 2016 Real Estate Activity Report

During 2016, real estate activity in Randolph saw increases in both total sales volume and average sales price.

 

There was a 6% increase in the number of land documents recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds from the town of Randolph in 2016.  6,118 land documents were recorded versus 5,777 in 2015. 

 

The total volume of real estate sales in Randolph during 2016 was $262,150,082, a 17% increase from 2015. The average sales price of homes and commercial property was up 4% in Randolph. The average sale price was $517,061.  

 

The number of mortgages recorded (1,148) on Randolph properties in 2016 was up 8% from the previous year. Total mortgage indebtedness increased 13% to $446,357,085 during the same period.

 

There were 31 foreclosure deeds filed against Randolph properties during 2016, representing an 11% increase from the previous year when there were 28 foreclosure deeds recorded.

 

Finally, homestead activity decreased 3% in Randolph during 2016 with 442 homesteads filed compared to 457 in 2015.
