Obtain a Copy of Your Deed or Other Land Documents

A certified copy of your deed or copies of other land documents may be obtained from the Registry of Deeds Customer Service Center at 649 High Street in Dedham, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.  The cost for a copy of a document is $1.00 per page.
 
If you cannot come to the Registry, you can send a request by mail to:

The cost by mail is $2.00 for the first page, $1.00 for each additional page, per document.  Please state in your request if you want your deed or land documents certified.

You may also obtain a copy of your deed at no cost directly from our Records Database BUT the words “Not An Official Copy” will appear as an overlay across the top of the document.  In order to view and print your deed or other land documents you must click on the openface book icon, the Document Image List page will appear, click on View the image All Pg or just click on the page within the document that you want to print.  A PDF of the whole document or the single page you requested will open, which can then be printed for free.
