Walpole COA Invites Register O’Donnell to be Guest Speaker

Walpole, MA- Continuing his efforts to bring the Registry of Deeds directly to the citizens of Norfolk County, Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell will be the Council on Aging’s guest speaker at South Street Center, 60 South Street, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 1 pm.

The Register will give an overview of the Registry, which is the principal office for real property records in Norfolk County, cataloging and housing more than 13.1 million land documents. Also covered in the presentation will be information on the ability to look up land documents dating back to the first ones recorded in 1793 through the Registry of Deeds’ online internet research system. These records are available to the public via the Registry’s website at www.norfolkdeeds.org.

Registry staff will also be able to provide residents with certified copies of land documents, such as deeds and mortgage discharges.
