The total dollar volume of real estate sales in Weymouth during the 3rd quarter of 2015 was $132,777,393, a 13% decrease over 2014 3rd quarter numbers. The average sales price of deeds over $1000, both residential and commercial properties, was $411,075, a 28% decrease from the same time period in 2014.
The number of mortgages recorded against Weymouth properties during the 3rd quarter of 2015 was 671, a 22% increase from the 3rd quarter 2014 number. Total mortgage indebtedness was $232,745,297 for the quarter compared to $120,867,536 for the 3rd quarter 2014.
There were 13 foreclosure deeds filed against Weymouth properties during the 3rd quarter 2015. This represented an increase of 44% over the same time period in 2014.
